What kind of pan is this? (flikr photo should show below)

The bottom part is 9.5" wide and 2" deep and appears to be ceramic-coated metal and the insignia on the bottom looks like a lion leaning on a coffee-pot with a "B" in it. Lettering under the stamp is illegible to me, except for the number 134. The top part is possibly aluminum and it is textured as shown, and is less than 1" deep. They fit together as though made to do so, not sure if that was for storage purposes or if this is some sort of double-boiler. Handles on both are wood.
